Frequently asked questions
What does it really cost?
One flat monthly price per location, excl. VAT. No deposit, device cost or setup fee. Your 30-day trial starts when your pilot begins. Joining the list costs nothing.
Do I need a new till?
We start with your existing till. We check the model and printer connection first, and only plan the pilot once we know the setup fits.
What if the internet goes down?
An internet outage should not stop service. During the pilot, we check the paper fallback and recovery of digital receipts for your setup.
Does money go through Stip?
No. Paying works the way it always did, with you. Stip never touches the payment and stores no card or bank credentials.
What can it do today?
The itemised receipt with the VAT per rate, splitting it yourself line by line, saving it as a PDF, and the review prompt once you supply your own Google link. No identity is stored with the receipt.
