Hardware Order Terms

1.What you receive

Stip dots are NFC devices designed for table use: a flat matte disc in Stip sage, 28.0 mm across and 4.0 mm thick, with a contactless tap symbol and the NFC chip inside. Quantities per your order; the first dots are included in your subscription as described at checkout.

The Stip Bridge is a small closed unit that sits beside your till and is fitted by us during installation. One is included with every subscription; see Setup fee below.

2.Ownership

Dots included in a subscription remain the property of Stip and are provided for use during your subscription. On termination you return them (shipping label provided) or confirm destruction. Dots purchased separately become your property on payment.

3.Delivery

We ship within 5 working days of onboarding unless stated otherwise. Risk passes on delivery. Check the shipment on arrival and report damage within 7 days.

4.Installation & pairing

Dots attach with the supplied 3M mounting; place them on a clean, dry surface. Each dot is paired to a table in your dashboard during setup. Do not cover the face; guests tap the dot to open their receipt.

5.Warranty & replacement

Dots are built for daily hospitality use and are resistant to liquids and normal wear. Defective dots are replaced free of charge during your subscription. Lost or intentionally damaged dots are replaced at the then-current replacement price.

6.Setup fee

A one-time setup fee applies to every subscription, whatever till you run. It covers the Stip Bridge and its on-site installation. The bridge remains Stip property and is provided for use during your subscription; on termination you return it (shipping label provided) or confirm destruction. The amount is shown at checkout before you pay.

7.Returns

Statutory withdrawal rights for business purchases are limited; we nevertheless accept returns of unused, separately purchased hardware within 14 days of delivery.
