1.The two categories we use

Essential: the login session for the owner dashboard, the Stripe checkout session while you subscribe, your language choice (EN/NL), and the record of your cookie choice itself. These are required for the site to function and are always on.

Analytics & support chat: privacy-friendly, aggregated page statistics (Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights) that tell us which pages matter and how fast they load, plus our support chat (Crisp), which sets its own cookies to keep a conversation going. One toggle governs all of them, and none of these scripts are loaded at all until you opt in via the cookie banner. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.

2.How consent works

On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Nothing in it is pre-selected, and "Essential only" is exactly as easy to choose as "Accept all". Your choice is stored with a timestamp in your browser (a localStorage entry and a cookie named "stip-consent") for up to one year.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops analytics from loading from that moment on.

3.Guest receipt pages

The guest receipt experience is built to need no tracking. Receipt and to-go pages load no analytics scripts under any setting, show no cookie banner, and guests never create an account.

A single browser localStorage entry remembers the guest's language choice (EN/NL). It stays on the device, is never sent to a server, and can be cleared at any time.

4.Owner dashboard

The owner dashboard uses first-party session cookies to keep you signed in. These are essential to the service and cannot be disabled while you are logged in.

5.Managing cookies in your browser

Beyond the banner, you can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent the dashboard and checkout from working.

6.Changes

We will update this policy as our tooling changes and post the revised date above. If a new cookie category is ever introduced, the banner will ask again.
